For 28 years, broadcasters of every skill level look forward to participating in the prestigious BFOA Celebrity Golf Tournament.


The star-studded event offers a rare opportunity to golf on a premier course while you network with colleagues, executives, and celebrities from the worlds of Broadcasting, Entertainment & Sports.

All proceeds from this event directly support the BFOA's mission to assist radio and television broadcasters in times of critical need. Having participants of your status and influence will help us raise money for our colleagues in need during challenging times.

The BFOA Golden Mic Award honors an individual in our industry, acknowledging their excellence in, and commitment to, broadcasting, as well as their ongoing service to the community at large.

The Edward F. McLaughlin Lifetime Achievement Award honors a broadcaster who has made invaluable contributions to the television and radio industry.

The Philip J. Lombardo Spirit Award is bestowed upon an individual or company who exhibits the spirit of dedication and relentless drive to the BFOA’s philanthropic mission exemplified by former chairman, Philip J. Lombardo.

The BFOA Broadcast Personality of the Year award honors a broadcaster who has made significant career achievements throughout the previous year and represents the best of our industry.

The Leadership Award recognizes career contributions to the broadcast industry and community at-large. The Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award honors an individual in broadcasting whose work exemplifies innovation, community service, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. The Chairman's Award is chosen by the Foundation's current chair and honors a broadcaster who has made a significant impact on the BFOA.
