Deborah Norville to Emcee BFOA Golden Mic Gala & Fundraiser

Sammy Rae & the Friends to perform; Bonnie Bernstein, Scott Herman, and Ray Cole to Present Awards

The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA), the charity that provides aid to broadcasters in critical need, has announced Deborah Norville, longtime BFOA Board member and two-time EMMY-winning anchor of Inside Edition, will emcee this year’s Golden Mic gala and fundraiser on Monday, March 10, at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Bonnie Bernstein, veteran CBS Sports and ESPN journalist and founder and CEO of Walk Swiftly Productions and Velvet Hammer Media Consulting, will present the Golden Mic Award to Brian Lawlor, President, Scripps Sports. In addition, Scott Herman, former COO of CBS Radio and Chair of the BFOA, will pay tribute to Dan Mason, former CEO of CBS Radio and past Chair of the BFOA, with the 2025 Edward F. McLaughlin Lifetime Achievement Award, and Ray Cole, former President and COO of Citadel Communications, will recognize Katz Media Group with the 2025 Philip J. Lombardo Spirit Award. Mark Gray, CEO of Katz Media Group, will accept the award. Singing sensation Sammy Rae is lined up to provide the evening’s entertainment.
