The Toscano Family’s Story

Vincent Toscano was a radio broadcaster through and through. One day, Vince began to have trouble walking, and he was diagnosed with a very rare cancer. At the same time, his wife, Elizabeth, was battling thyroid cancer. With Vince unable to work and the medical bills piling up, the Toscano’s applied for and began to receive a monthly grant from the BFOA. Unfortunately, Vince did not survive his battle with cancer, but Elizabeth and her children continued to receive the Foundation’s support, even after Vince’s passing. Now, Liz and her kids are back on their feet and no longer need the financial support of the BFOA, but are forever grateful it was available in their time of need.
